Abstract
The classroom action research has the objective to determine the increased participation of students learning, students collaboration, and learning outcomes IPS at Wonolelo sixth grade elementary school students in the academic year 2014/2015 through learning models Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD). The study was conducted by applying classroom action research (CAR) in three cycles. Techniques of collecting data about learning participation and cooperation of the students to learn using the observation sheet while data on student learning outcomes using test data. The results showed there was an average increased participation of social studies of six graders Wonolelo, Pleret, Bantul year 2014/2015 of pre-cycle average score of 52.58, a cycle (1) 57.58 cycles (2) 66.21 cycles (3) 81.97 Aspects of cooperation for students to learn pre-cycle of 47.58, a cycle (1) 63.18 cycles (2) 73.33 cycles (3) 82.73 Results of pre-cycle student learning cycle reaches 49.43 ( 1) 60.57 cycles (2) 73.71 cycles (3) 87.57.
