Abstract
The research type was correlation research between parents attention of book link with mathematic student achievement. The population research were I, II, and III class students about 36 parents. Samples were taken with technique of proportional stratified random sampling with error level of 5% so that there were 32 samples. Data collection used questionnaire, interview, and documentation. Data analysis technique used quantitative statistic. Based on the data, it can be concluded that ( 1 ) a description of parent’s attention of book link with the average often noticed by 46,3 % and frequently with 35,0 % and then sometimes with 13,7 % and never with 3,8 %. Based on the existing of data collection, the attention of the parents in the book link to learning book at school and at home, including in high level. The implementation of book link provided many benefits, the communication with parents more smoothly, students more discipline, learning more smoothly, parental attention was better or increased, and student achievement increased. (2) The corelation between parents attention of book link with mathematics student achievement was 0,783. The score of significance of test result was 0,00. The score was tight score, so that the corelation were positive and significant. If parents attention of book link was high so mathematics student achievement also high.
