Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of liquidity which measured by the current ratio, leverage with debt to assets ratio and profitability with a return on assets to financial distress at the company's mining listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study as quantitative classified. The population in this study are all companies mining listed on the Stock Exchange in 2012-2014. While the sample is determined by purposive sampling method so that the data obtained 40 sample firms. Data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analytical method used is logistic regression analysis. Based on the results of logistic regression analysis with significance level of 5%, then the results of this study concluded: (1) liquidity does not significant infulence financial distess with a value of 2.852 wald test and a significance value 0.091 >0.05, (2) significant effect on the leverage of financial distess with a value of 8.423 wald test and a significance value 0.004<0.05, (3) significant effect on the profitability of financial distess with a value of 15.515 wald test and a significance value 0.000 <0.05.
