Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the mathematical literacy curriculum in SPLDV in 2013. In this study four aspects in terms of abilities, including comprehension, application , reasoning , and communication and refers to an individual's ability to : a) know the facts and concepts and interpret mathematics in a variety of contexts ( aspect of understanding ) ; b ) using the concepts , facts and procedures in formulating , presenting and solving mathematical problems ( aspects of the application ) ; c ) ability to perform reasoning in giving explanations and justifications ( aspects of reasoning ) ; and d ) is able to communicate explanations ( arguments ) and problem resolution ( aspects of communication ) .
