Abstract
The main objective in this study is to find and reveal the effects of Thinking Empowerment by Questioning and IQ the ability of student comprehensive at SMA 2 Blitar. In addition, this study also aimed to test is Intelligence Quotient (IQ) influence on comprehension ability of students and ability to test whether there is an interaction between strategy and IQ TEQ the comprehension ability of students. This research conduct with quasi-experimental which is subject is class XI. 2 as an experimental class and class IS. 5 as the control class. The experiment class used the TEQ strategy, whereas the control class using lecture methods. The research instrument is an essay test for the pretest and posttest. Data analysis used two-way ANOVA method whereby data was analised using the SPSS 16.0 program. Based on data analysis, TEQ strategies usage has significant effect on the geography student comprehension ability. IQ has significantly influence on the geography student comprehension ability. Interaction between TEQ strategies and IQ not significant effect on the geography student comprehension ability.
