Abstract
According to the constructivist view of learning is the process by which scientific knowledge . This formation should be carried out by the students as learners . He must be actively engaged , active thinking , draft and give meaning of the things being studied. Constructivist approach emphasizes that the main role in the learning activities are the activities of students in constructing their own knowledge . One model of learning that can be applied to make the learning experience of students is learning cycle ( cycle study) . Learning cycle model of learning can help students to recall the previous subject matter , and train students learn to find concepts through experimentation . Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of the results , it can be concluded that the use of learning model learning cycle is able to have a significant influence on the formation of the character of scientific thinking of students.
