Abstract
Theoretically, this research aims to analyze Serat Murtasiyah text as a work of literature use to Gramscian literature sociology approach to exploremorale leadership. This research practice aimis explaincodicology and textology use modern filology approach. Research method what used is qualitative descriptive research to analyze language and content. Data population for this research are 22 variants codex. There are 7 variants for resarch sample. From those, there is one of them be based codex on study. Itis acodex fromYogyakarta Sonobudoyo Museum collection by codex number PB A.214. This text is dominated words and loan idiomsfrom Arabic. Morale leadership contained the text is represented by a wise female figure, whose name is Murtasiyah.She isintellect in patriarchat domination at Java Culture.A fusion of beautifulness, emotional quotion, and intelectual quotion is a significant modale to reach for morale leadership that give effects fair, comfortable, and elegant. More than morale leadershipwhose content, this text could was been enable as Java tasawuf text.
