Abstract

Writing this article aims to: (1) explain domestic political policies, especially in the formation of the mutual cooperation cabinet and the formation of the KPK; (2) explaining how the foreign policy system was during Megawati's presidency; (3) explain the form of foreign policy cooperation between Indonesia and America. The method used in this study is the historical method. The results of this study stated that: (1) the formation of the mutual cooperation cabinet was aimed at overcoming inflation or rising prices of goods during the reign of President Megawati, and the formation of the KPK was aimed at overcoming the dirty institutions of the prosecutors and police at that time. (2) foreign policy during the reign of President Megawati adopted the principle of free and active foreign policy. (3) the form of cooperation between Indonesia and America is action against all forms of terrorism
