Abstract

The Longan fruit are met by imports rather than domestic products, this indicates that domestic longan production is still low, therefore the expansion of planting longan needs to be done. Based on this interest, we conducted a factorial experiment with growing longan fruit seedlings to have had a number of internodes that allow to grafting buds from other cultivars. With the research method is RCBD, treatment factors I is internode one (L1),two (L2), and three (L3), as the location of grafting buds. Factor II treatments are buds of cultivars Pingpong (PP), Diamond River (DR) and Itoh (IT), then formed 9 combination treatment became a source of diversity. Observational data statistically calculated and analyzed by F test and DMRT. The analysis showed the interaction positive between treatment factors, the parameters of life percentage of graftings, long shoots that grow, also showed grafting buds DR on L1 shows the percentage of survival of grafting the highest, and the long shoots that grow the longest. It can be concluded that the results of grafting buds DR cultivars showed better growth compared with PP and IT. The difference lies grafting buds did not affect the success of the grafting of all the cultivars used.
