Abstract

Fisheries is one of fields that are expected to support an increase in the welfare of Indonesian people. Squid nets in Pati regency may become an alternative for fishermen who are still using fishing gear types boat seines (cantrang). The research aims are 1) analyzing the competitive advantage of squid nets fisheries businesses in Juwana subdistrict Pati Regency, 2) analyzing the comparative advantages of squid nets fisheries businesses in Juwana subdistrict Pati Regency, 3) analyzing the divergences effect of squid nets fisheries businesses in Juwana subdistrict Pati Regency. This research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. The research location was in Juwana subdistrict namely Dukutalit, Bajomulyo and Bendar village. Amount of sample is 46 people. The data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained from respondents through questionnaires. While the secondary data from documents from relevant agencies. Data Analysis using the Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM). Result of the research are 1) The competitive advantage value (PCR) 0.910 which means the system is competitive. 2) The comparative advantages value (DRCR) 0.278 which means the system has a comparative advantage. 3) The divergences effect : input transfer 3,667,710; NPCI 1.005; factor transfer 450,160,777; output transfer -386,275,862; NPCO 0.801; EPC 0.694; net transfer -840,104,349 and PC 0.087.
