Abstract
This study aims to 2) increase the motivation to learn through the Cooperative Model Script in Class V 2 Wirun Elementary School Academic Year 2015/2016, 2)) improve learning achievement through Cooperative Model Script in Class V SD Negeri 2 Wirun academic year 2015/2016. This study was conducted in SD Negeri 2 Wirun. This research is a class act. Subjects in this study were students of class V Elementary School Wirun totaling 28 students. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire, observation and tests. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive percentages. The results showed that 1) the application of the model of cooperative script on IPS learning can increase learning motivation fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Wirun academic year 2015/2016, shown from students who have learning motivation high by 6 students (21:43%)% in the pre-cycle , increasing to 15 students (53.57%) the end of the first cycle, and 23 students (82.14%) at the end of the second cycle. 2) the application of the model of cooperative script can improve student achievement class V SD Negeri 2 Wirun academic year 2015/2016, shown by an increase in average learning achievement in social studies on pre cycles with the average value of 70.28 or 13 students (46,43% ), which reached the KKM > 75, the first cycle to 75.10 or 19 students (67.86%) reached the KKM, and the second cycle with an average value of 76.62 or 24 students (85.71% reaching the KKM
