Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the classification, leading economic sector, the potential of the sub-district village piyungan. The basic methods in this research is descriptive analysist methods. The research area was taken intentionally (purposive), that was in Piyungan district. The type of data used are secondary data obtained from the CEntral Statistic Agency (BPS) in Piyungan, Planning Board (BAPPEDA) in Bantul, and completed by the primary data through interviews and focus group discussion(FGD) with stakeholders in Piyungan district.
